Hi, I'm Samantha, a Scotland-based fashion and personal branding photographer creating cinematic imagery for creatives, brands, and individuals who want their story to be seen.
My work combines fashion, editorial aesthetics, and authentic storytelling to create imagery that feels intentional, expressive, and memorable. Whether I'm creating a fashion campaign, building a personal brand gallery, or bringing a creative concept to life, my focus is always on creating visuals that connect.
Where it all began
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My first experience with photography started as a child when I was gifted a 35mm film camera. I photographed almost everything I saw, capturing little moments without really understanding the process behind it. Looking back, there were probably more blank photos than perfectly exposed ones, but that curiosity never left.
My grandparents always encouraged my love for photography by getting my first film developed and keeping many of those early photographs safe. Years later, those images found their way back to me, bringing back the of a passion that has continued to grow.
As I grew older, I transitioned into digital photography with my first Nikon Coolpix point-and-shoot camera, which helped me continue developing my eye and deepen my passion for capturing moments.
Developing my craft
At college, I studied Graphic Design & New Media, where I was introduced to elements of photography alongside design, digital media, and visual communication.
That experience shaped the way I approach imagery today. Understanding composition, layout, colour, and how an image works across different platforms has become a huge part of my creative process.
In 2015, I received my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D3300, as a gift from my mum because she believed in my passion for photography and encouraged me to turn my creativity into something more.
That camera became a huge part of my journey. I used it for years while learning, experimenting, building my portfolio, and developing my own style. After almost a decade of creating with it, I officially retired my Nikon D3300 in 2024 and upgraded to a Sony A7ii mirrorless camera, marking the next chapter in my photography journey.
After spending time experimenting and building my confidence, I knew I wanted to properly understand my camera and develop my skills further. In 2016, I began my diploma program at the Institute of Photography, which I completed in 2020.
Finding my style
Over time, I discovered that fashion photography was where my creativity truly came alive.
I've always been fascinated by the imagery found in fashion campaigns, magazines, and visual storytelling. I remember looking at billboards and editorials, thinking about how incredible it would feel to see my own work displayed in those spaces one day.

It gives me the freedom to create imagery that feels powerful while helping others bring their ideas, brands, and creativity to life.
A new chapter
After years of building my portfolio, developing my skills, and refining my creative direction, I decided to begin my photography business officially.
In 2026, my work was published internationally for the first time through a fashion editorial on the Kavyar platform, marking an important milestone in my photography journey and a step towards the larger creative goals I continue to work towards.
This moment represents more than just publication. It reflects years of learning, experimenting, creating, and believing in the power of visual storytelling.

I can work collaboratively with clients to develop the ideas, plan the creative direction, and create imagery that feels authentic to who they are.
